J. Kearney, rider of Bye Bye Now, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right out of the stalls and hung right thereafter.

Orla Tynan, rider of Another Nice'day, trained by Miss Jennifer Anne Lynch, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was hampered coming out of the stalls. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

B.M. Coen, rider of The Cosy Corner, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got unbalanced and ran around a furlong out.

J. Kearney, rider of Sir Les Patterson (GB), trained by Stephen Thorne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run in the straight.

P. McGettigan, rider of Rosie Frith, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount anticipated the start. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race where it appeared that Rosie Frith jumped forward forcing her stall to open fractionally faster than the other stalls. The Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no material advantage was gained and no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the home bend involving Kerdos, ridden by Reese Holohan, and Valiant Force (USA), ridden by Rowan Scott, where it appeared Kerdos got tight for room momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Reese Holohan stated that it got a small bit tight as the whole field came across. Rowan Scott stated that his mount rolled around but he corrected him immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

297C Irish Stallion Farms EBF Legacy Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Grayrobin (GB), trained by Miss Kate McGivern, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Big Negotiator (GB), trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W.J. Lee, rider of Big Negotiator (GB), trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a check inside the final furlong.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Walk On Harry, ridden by R.C. Colgan, Big Negotiator (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, Hidden Gift, ridden by O.J. Orr, Matriarchal, ridden by W.M. Lordan, and Shimmering Sun, ridden by B.M. Coen where it appeared numerous horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that he felt pressure from his left and took a precautionary check. W.M. Lordan stated that his mount was weakening. R.C. Colgan stated that he got bumped from both sides. B.M. Coen stated that he was clear of the incident. O.J. Orr stated that the horse behind him touched his rear end causing him to go right for a stride. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found O.J. Orr was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

J. Kearney, rider of Someday Somewhere, trained by Stephen Thorne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly from the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the IHRB Veterinary Officer, Ms. E. Costello, where it appeared Snapequus, ridden by J.M. Sheridan had whip marks on its hind quarters post race. The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan concerning his use of the whip. Evidence was was heard from the rider concerned and the IHRB Veterinary Officer Ms. E. Costello who showed photographic evidence of her findings. J.M. Sheridan stated that his mount is thin skinned and could not account for the whip marks but apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J.M. Sheridan was in breach of R.10.3(f)(force) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of One Number (USA), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got squeezed coming out of the stalls.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Brigids Charm, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

A.S. Grant, rider of Little Sure Shot, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Near Perfection, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in front.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed W.M. Lordan, rider of Purely, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that W.M. Lordan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

297H Irish EBF (Fillies) Mdn (Smullen Series)

Adam Caffrey, rider of Drumbinion Lass, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
